Wooden Letters
Basic Description What can be a better toy for a child than a colorful set of wooden letters? This is a simple, fun and very satisfying project. You can complete an entire alphabet or just create a smaller set of letters that spells something significant like the child's name.
Materials Wood and paint or finishing oil. A complete material list is provided below.
Tools Bandsaw or scrollsaw or jigsaw, sandpaper, paintbrush. A complete tool list is provided below.

#1 varies Plywood or hardwood. We used 3/8" (1cm) birch plywood, but any quality wood will suffice. If you want the letters to be able to stand upright, make sure the wood is thick enough.
