This simple sculpture flaunts itself by apparently defying natural laws. A series of blocks are stacked in such a way that the topmost one extends beyond its supports. With pattern clearly marked on the wood, you can cut it with a bandsaw, scrollsaw or jigsaw. Cut outside the line because you can always remove some material but you will not be able to bring it back.
Once the piece is cut, using a disc sander and a spindle sander or sanding drum attachment for your drill press to bring the piece down to the final desired dimension. If you selected a shape that doesn't have any inside radiuses this step may be omitted.
